Older couple exercisingAs you get older the right type of exercise can help you maintain flexibility and mobility ? done safely and consistently, exercise has been seen to slow down the ageing process.

I devise exercise programmes for mature adults and elderly men and women across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. My aim is to work with people to help them retain their independence and enjoy life to the full. As a mobile personal trainer, I come to you and we can either train at a local park or in the privacy of your own home or garden. I will discuss with you any mobility or other physical challenges you face, any medical conditions, your general diet and what you want to achieve.

From this, I will put together a fitness guide/programme, which will encompass a series of exercises (including seated exercise if required) to help strengthen your muscles and improve your flexibility and aerobic fitness. Every activity undertaken will be designed to avoid muscle strain, and I place great emphasis on warming up and stretching after exercise to prevent such injuries.
